We encourage you to attend as many events as you can, bringing guests who might be interested in IWCF.IWCF sends members a quarterly newsletter that includes information about upcoming IWCF events.In addition, a regularly updated calendar of IWCF events is available on our Calendar of Events. FALL – Recruitment and Renewal Fall Membership Meeting [September or October] A Membership and Education combined event to start off the new season with great speakers and special roundtable discussions! An excellent opportunity for guests to get more information about IWCF membership. Recruitment Gatherings [September-January] The Membership Committee hosts gatherings at different IWCF members’ homes. Speakers are drawn from IWCF membership. Fall Renewal - Members will be sent the membership renewal forms in October. Education Roundtables [October or November] The Education Committee hosts events designed to educate IWCF members on important community issues and activities. WINTER – Grant Season Grant Cycle[January - April] The pooled fund grant cycle begins.All IWCF members are invited to participate in the grant process. Education Opportunities [February before start of Grants] Lectures, readings, forums, roundtables as needed. Individual Grant Designations[March] We will be organized for pay out of your individual grants designations. SPRING – Education and Grants Presentation Recruitment Gatherings [February-May] The Membership Committee hosts gatherings at different IWCF members’ homes. Educational Roundtables [April] The Education Committee hosts events designed to educate IWCF members on important community issues and activities. Grants Meetings[March/April] The Grant Committee makes reports on the projects/organizations being considered for IWCF pooled fund awards at two meetings.All members are encouraged to attend (attendance helps inform member voting in June). Pooled Fund Voting Process[April/May] Each member is invited to vote for grant awardees. Annual Meeting & Pooled Fund Award Announcement [May] The pooled fund awardees are announced and celebrated at the annual meeting.All members and their guests are encouraged to attend.
