IWCF members are informed investors. We learn about the community’s greatest needs, and through pooled investments and individual designations, direct our giving to make the greatest impact in the areas important to us collectively and individually.
IWCF donates money to nonprofit organizations recognized by the IRS. Members commit $1100 annually in three-year intervals. $500 is credited to the pooled fund for the grants process; the other $500 is directed to the nonprofit of the member’s choosing is a single $500 donation or in designations of $250. The remaining $100 is used for annual operating expenses.

I love the difference that an IWCF pooled grant can make. My personal giving has expanded as I have learned about community needs from participating in the IWCF grant process. - Kay Alspaugh, Member since 2002
