Furry Philanthropists: how animals help us heal and learn at Once Upon a Horse ~ 2880 N. Eagle Road, Eagle, Idaho
Please join us for a morning of learning from our furry and, in some cases, feathered friends: Animals will show how they can help us heal and learn. "Family" groups can purchase Furry Philanthropist Official PASSPORTS for themselves, friends and children at the entrance for $5 per "family". (It's a very good buy!) There is plenty of parking available on property at Once Upon a Horse. As you enter the area you will find clear directions to your first of four presentations from the following organizations: · Ride for Joy · Idaho Humane Society · The World Center for Birds of Prey and · Zoo Boise.
Presentations will start at 9:45 a.m. sharp; attendees will be divided into groups small enough for everyone to have their questions answered and to get a good look at the animals. During the "refreshment" period, experts and animals will be available for a second visit and more questions. At 11:30 a.m. it will be time to go home and have lunch and think about animals in a different light.
Please RSVP or inquire with Vicky Coelho: Education Committee (208)939-8205 hm.
